This website has been designed to give you an introduction to the Sanskrit language and the culture that surrounds it. Here you can gain a basic understanding of the history of Sanskrit, as well as learn the foundations of the writing system.
Other features include audio samples of prayers and words, texts to download, and 'The Trials of Vajra', an interactive game that tests your memory on all you have learnt.
Please keep in mind that this is by no means a complete guide to Sanskrit. If you are interested in furthering your knowledge of Sanskrit, links have been provided of various resources including websites, courses, and books that can help you learn more about Sanskrit and the culture from which it arose.
